Hot Weather Cooling Locations
These locations in Auburn are available for community members to seek relief from high temperatures.
- The Senior Activity Center is open Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Visit 808 Ninth Street SE or call 253-931-3016.
- The Ray of Hope Day Resource Center is open daily to assist persons experiencing homelessness. The Drop-In Center is located at 2806 Auburn Way N, or call 253-833-8925.
- Overnight relief is available each night at the Sundown Overnight Shelter. The Sundown Shelter is available nightly from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Please call 253-833-8925 for access.
- The Arcadia Shelter & Drop-In Center is available during the day, Sunday - Saturday from 2:30 PM - 6:00 PM for people ages 12-24 and overnight, Sunday - Saturday from 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM for people ages 18-24. Visit 932 Auburn Way S or call 253-740-7189.
