Park History
Named for a former Auburn retailer, Frank Fulmer, who owned an ice cream business in Auburn and was known for giving ice cream to children in town. Gene Colburn, a former Park Board member, promoted naming the park for him and his contributions to Auburn youth. The park was dedicated in 1979.

From I-5 or Hwy 167, take the Hwy 18 East. Take the Auburn-Enumclaw Exit. At the end of the ramp, turn right onto Auburn Way South. Continue north on Auburn Way to the light at 4th St. N.E. Turn right onto 4th Street. Go past the Auburn High School and School Administration Building. Turn left onto K St. N.E. Go one block to the Fulmer Blue Field. Turn right onto 5th Street N.E. for one block to Fulmer Green Field.
